About the Work

Raised near the shores of Lake Erie and the Rocky River Reservation, I have been captivated by the beauty of my natural surroundings, and all that it offers.

As I continue my lifelong commitment to the exploration of this medium, I am inspired by the rhythmic movement of an open body of water, unique patterns within sedimentary rock and stone, how wind and water create erosion, and the general topography

of an awe-inspiring landscape.

My hope is that the viewer, who longs for being immersed within their own natural surroundings, will find a similar connection

to this work.
